Antimony Oxide is regularly used as a flame retardant Synergist in Plastics, Rubber, Textiles, Adhesives, Fiberglass & Paper. Plus, it is also used by Glass manufacturers as a fining agent or as Degasser (to remove bubbles).

Porcelain and Enameling Services use it as a pacifier and it is preferred by Paint manufacturers as a White Pigment and also with the other materials to form Yellow Pigments.

Technical Properties :

Antimony Trioxide High Tint offered comes with constitution of ASSAY (Sb2O3) 99.500% Min, Arsenic (As) 0.05% Max, Lead (Pb) 0.05% Max and Iron (Fe) 50 PPM. With average particle size of 0.9 to 1 microns, these have specific gravity of 5.2 to 5.7 and finds use as flame retardants synergist in adhesives, fiberglass, plastics, rubber, textiles & Paper. Other than this, it is also used by glass manufacturers as fining agents or as degassers and in porcelain and enameling services as an opacifier. It is also used with other materials for forming yellow pigments.
